But what do This Girl Can Classes actually involve? The classes are 45 minutes in length and are designed to be a blend of different exercises and styles of activity each week. Even though the classes are made up of different types of exercise, we keep things gentle and at a low intensity so that women of all abilities feel able to take part. The aim is to build your confidence and introduce you to lots of different styles of movement so that you feel confident to add regular classes to your exercise routine.
The sessions involve everything from dance fitness (think Zumba), aerobics, boxing and yoga. Don’t have the latest Lycra set? There is no dress code at This Girl Can Classes – so if all you’ve got is a baggy t-shirt and some old joggers then that’s ok. Don’t know a dumbbell from a kettlebell? We’re not about serious strength training. All our classes consist of bodyweight exercises, so no scary equipment needed!
